Married - 3rd September 2011
I got married to the beautiful Carolyn on 3rd september 2011 at Bakewell register office, Derbyshire.
Our son (nearly 2 years old) was best man. My daughter (7) and Carolyn's niece (8) were bridesmaids.
All our close family were there - we had a really really nice time. The wedding was followed by a slap-up pub lunch at The Peacock Inn across the road... and in the evening we had a fantastic wedding party with a load of our friends and family at Townfield Barn (Shatton - Derbyshire)... The Blue Moon Vegetarian Cafe did a superdooper buffet - and entertainment was supplied by Winkie Thin and the Last Drop Ceilidh band! - A great time was had by all... (well we certainly did - I hope everyone else did too!)
We had a couple of days in Cumbria for our honeymoon... it rained - but we had a very nice relaxing time... We stayed at Augill castle near Brough, Kirkby Stephen and Appleby... I've never been to that part of Cumbria before - fantastic countryside!!
